January 16th, 2020, Shanghai – New Ease, a leading logistics real estate platform today announced it has entered into an agreement with Actis, an international investor in growth markets to establish a joint venture to develop modern logistics properties in China’s gateway cities. The first batch of projects will be launched in the core areas in Chongqing, Quanzhou and Tianjin with a total investment of approximately US$200 million.
New Ease was founded by Mr. Sun Dongping and the management team, focused on investing, developing and operating state of the art modern logistics properties in China. Since its establishment in 2018, the company has rapidly expanded its footprint across the country backed by global blue-chip institutional investors. As of the end of 2019, New Ease has accumulated approximately 4 million square meters of logistics assets in operation or under development.
